Dr. Alan Stern

Dr. Alan Stern

Dr Alan Stern retired from the practice of Dentistry after 42 years and now runs a coaching business called Better Richer Stronger.

Alan works with dentists who want to create a workplace that is productive & profitable and a life that is rewarding and meaningful.  As a speaker, Dr Stern conducts presentations for dental groups that redefine what it means to build a better team and rekindle their passion for what matters.

In fact, Alan wrote the book, Enjoy the Ride for those who want to get out from the day-to-day grind and take charge of their roadmap to their preferred future.

As a result of Alan’s work, people often share they have more focus, more energy, more momentum and get the results they never longer thought were possible.

On a personal note, Alan and his wife, Fran, recommitted to living a healthy life. Alan even held a plank for ten and one half minutes on his 66th birthday and is constantly  pursuing bigger and better fitness goals

Innovator Insights

  • Embrace Your Authenticity: Recognize that your unique perspective and experiences are your greatest assets. Instead of trying to conform to an ideal or mimic others, embrace who you are authentically. This authenticity will resonate with others and create deeper connections.
  • Replace Negative Words with Empowering Ones: Pay attention to the language you use, both internally and externally. Swap out limiting words like “failure” and “can’t” with more positive and empowering alternatives like “curiosity” and “connecting with your true self.” This shift in mindset can have a profound impact on your outlook and actions.
  • Turn Pain into Growth: Understand that pain, though challenging, can be a powerful teacher. Instead of avoiding or suppressing it, acknowledge and process your pain. Use it as a catalyst for personal growth and transformation. Allow it to shape you into a stronger, more resilient individual.
  • Seek Support and Coaching: Recognize that you don’t have to navigate your journey alone. Seek out mentors, coaches, or support groups that align with your goals and values. Surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals can provide valuable insights, encouragement, and accountability.
  • Take Action, Stay the Course: Don’t let self-doubt or fear of failure hold you back. Take action towards your goals, even if it feels uncomfortable at first. Understand that success is a journey, and staying the course, despite challenges or setbacks, is key to long-term growth and fulfillment.

Remember, it’s never too late to step into your purpose and inspire others. By embracing your true self, using empowering language, learning from pain, seeking support, and taking consistent action, you can make a meaningful impact in your own life and the lives of others.
